MEWP, otherwise known as a Mobile Elevated Work Platform, are a new range of services to be offered from 2021.
South Hams Arborists are proud to offer our narrow access, tracked cherry picker for hire, with our qualified and experienced staff.
Our tracked cherry picker is perfect for accessing otherwise tricky to reach areas where larger or vehicle mounted MEWPS cannot access, such as down beside houses or across lawns for example.
By removing the basket, the machine slims right down to just 85cm wide, allowing it to pass through garden gates or other narrow scenarios.
Capable of reaching 18m high and up to 11.5m laterally, our machine is the perfect size for the majority of our needs.
We predominantly use our machine for dealing with dead or otherwise awkward trees, however due to its all-round capabilities we also offer it on hire to assist with safe aerial access for a range of other tasks. These can consist of different jobs such as;
- Painting and decorating.
- Chimneys and fireplace installations.
- Ecological surveys on building sites.
- Ivy clearance from buildings and walls.
- Property maintenance.
- Reaching of high hedges.
- Changing and maintaining of sports field floodlights.
